Norwegian manufacturer located in Molde specialized in the manufacture of thrusters (transverse and azimuth propulsion).

Production line includes Electric (up to 2600 KW) and Hydraulic thrusters (1500 KW) while a special resilient mounted thruster is available (used by the biggest Cruise operators).

Standard supply includes the tunnel with ring stiffeners and modularized motor foundation.

Main Characteristics:

• Double Sealing system (Outer seal is axial, inner seal is radial) preventing sea water ingress
• Removable pinion shaft (without docking)
• V-lip type propeller blade seal
• Overhaul without removal of gearbox
• Compact pitch feed back mechanism
• Units are supplied with the tunnel section which is reinforced with Stiffener rings

BRUNVOLL provides complete thruster packages and support through its lifetime. Control panels and Electronic cabinets are manufactured in house and can be integrated to other systems (Integration with DP, ship management or VDR).
